As a PRC High TechnologyEnterprise, the Company has 45R&D employees. The R&D Department is headed by Dr. Yang Youqiang. Anumber of proprietary core technologies have been developed by the R&D andutilized in the projects, including LCJ super anaerobic microbial degradation andbiogas production system, automated ultra high pressure waste pressing device andautoclave dehydration reactor. Thereinto, the LCJ super anaerobic microbialdegradation and biogas production system accelerates the fermentation processof food waste to a rate that triples that of the conventional microbes used inanaerobic processes in the industry.
Leveraging the advanced technologies andexpertise of Leoking Environmental amassed over more than 18 years of businessexperience in the environmental protection industry, the Company provides itsservices to both PRC local government bodies and private enterprises in demandof organic waste treatment and environmental engineering services. For thethree years ended August December 31,201 9 8,the Company had a total of 53 projects [in operation, under construction and inplanning stage], including 33 organic waste treatment projects and 20environmental engineering projects. Fororganic waste treatment services, the Company adopts the BOO and BOT projectmodels and operate under concession agreements whereby the Company is grantedthe exclusive right to construct and operate a waste treatment facility in aconcession area. For environmental engineering services, the Company adopts theEPC and DBO model to provide a variety of services includingengineering, procurement, construction and operation to cater to differentneeds of the customers.
The Company had constructed an integratedorganic waste treatment environmental park project in Guangzhou City, GuangdongProvince, has commenced trial operation, which, according to Frost &Sullivan, is the largest integrated organic waste treatment facility inoperation in the world in terms of treatment capacity at 2,040 tonnes per day.As at August31, 2019, The Group was the largest food waste treatment servicesprovider in the Greater Bay Area in terms of the aggregated daily treatmentcapacity of all projects as stipulated under the concession agreements forprojects in operation, under construction and in planning stage, with treatmentcapacity of 1,830 tonnes per day. the Group was the largest animal solid wastetreatment services provider in the PRC in terms of the aggregated dailytreatment capacity of all of projects as stipulated under the concessionagreements for projects in operation, under construction and in planning stage,with treatment capacity of 510 tonnes per day. In March 2018, the “EconomicInformation Simulcast” of the CCTV-2 Financial Channel broadcasted a featurestory during the annual sessions of the National People’s Congress and theChinese People’s Political Consultative Conference on the treatment facility ofthe Guangzhou Integrated Project. The Guangzhou Integrated Project was alsofeatured on the “Focus Report” of the CCTV-1 Channel on 8 July 2019 and CCTVnews on 22 September 2019.
