Located in Fushan Recycling Economy Industrial Park, Guangzhou Eastern Biomass Waste Integrated Treatment Plant is the largest domestic waste biochemical treatment project in Guangzhou. Cao Yongjian, chief technical engineer of Leoking Environmental Guangzhou Eastern Biomass Waste Integrated Treatment Plant, introduced that in the past, waste classification was not strictly implemented in the front end. kitchen waste was often mixed with other waste for incineration or landfill. The moisture content of kitchen waste was high, which was difficult to meet the heat requirements of incineration and power generation. If landfill, in addition to occupying a lot of land resources, leachate and odor pollution caused by organic matter decomposition should also be treated.
On July 31, Guangzhou Eastern Biomass Waste Integrated Treatment Plant was officially put into operation. Every day, food waste, urban excrement and solid animal waste from the six districts of Guangzhou center are transported to the treatment plant continuously. Here, they are pretreated into slurry, and they are jointly anaerobic fermented in seven 9600 cubic meters anaerobic tanks. They change from smelly waste to clean energy. The maximum annual power output is designed to be about 87.6 million degrees and oil output is about 15,000 tons.

Anaerobic System
"Anaerobic fermentation is a set of mature technology, and the innovation lies in the pretreatment of different waste characteristics." According to Cao Yongjian, in terms of fermentation technology, the fermentation raw pulp produced by the secondary separation of catering waste, high-pressure pressing of kitchen waste, high-temperature sterilization and dehydration of animal solid waste is fully mixed with the excrement produced by solid-liquid separation and flocculation dehydration, which can not only meet the water demand of fermentation process, but also fully ferment.
After fermentation, the organic waste will be converted into biogas, biodiesel, electric energy, organic fertilizer and other recyclable green products. Even the low concentration wastewater, including the ground washing water, and the high concentration wastewater generated in the waste treatment process will be treated organically by the sewage plant and recycled in the park. The whole industrial park will push the recycling treatment of urban organic waste to the extreme.
